Provisions In Case The Payment Of Money Order Is Made To The wrong Person
If a person who refuses to return the excess amount which  was paid by the employee of the Post Office while making payment of the
Money Order; and also if Money Order amount is paid to the wrong person by the employee of Post Office by mistake and if the person who so received refuses to return the Money Order amount, such amounts shall be
recovered from these persons pursuant to Rules as a government due by the post office personnel who is authorized by the Director General. If there is a valid reason for not requiring to return such amount, the concern person
should be able to submit the reason and evidence therefor.
